What am I up to? Recent Designs, My Band, Something Grizzley & What’s in my stereo!
I have been BUSY!
I just wrapped up my Design & Illustration for the new Modest Mouse 7″ Satellite Skin Single. Can’t show you the artwork yet, but it’s a good one! I used colored inks on watercolor paper and the package is embossed on thick uncoated paper! Everything is hand drawn in ink including the copyright line.
My band “Revenge Of The Tractor Trailers” switched up some members and we have renamed the band “Bumpin’ Tacos.” We just finished recording our album tentatively titled “Greatest Tits!” The recording is now definitely for Lesbians AND Grandmothers. Ha- ok…Songs may include the famous “Libby Likes Meatballs,” a geeked out 80’s version of “Clerkstore Fuckwad (I Want Revenge),” “Bumpin’ Tacos,” “Greatest Tits (Rasta Version),” “Zombie Holocaust Hunters Unite!,” “Tryin To Find My Baby On The ‘69 Trail ( Extra Bloody Version) ,” “Together (We Are Brothers),” “Mexican Coffee,”and “Vampires Lullabye”…Stay Tuned Kids!
On upcoming gigs, I will be the Special Guest at the next Something Grizzley Show this March 26th at Sullivan Hall in NYC! I will be standing in on “Clerkstore Fuckwad (I Want Revenge).” Show starts at 8. Gig flyer that I designed here:
I have been listening to some REALLY GREAT new records. First is the solo album from the Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach: Keep It Hid. It’s AMAZING.
Also Check out the new M. Ward album, Hold Time. Also Brilliant. The vocals are haunting. Love the Artwork and package design.
I highly recommend picking these up NOW.
